Blog Launched, Party Partied

We just caught wind of our buddy’s, the Kreptatka Bar Band, victorious return to Mehanata. It’s happening January 31st at 8:30PM so come early – click to rsvp. These boys made the gypsy festival a beautiful memory for us and we can’t wait to jump all over them – EN VIVO!!!

Happy New Year, immigrant punks & Gypsy Freak friends! The Burdel militia dj’d the infamous Mehanata ice cage on last night on NYE, black & gold insignia shining like the galaxies of inebriation and joy. We were lucky enough to celebrate in a room full of people too drunk to realize we missed the countdown completely…!
Let’s keep it an in-house secret which song we played when midnight struck. Those who were there won’t soon forget.
Here’s to 2010, the launch of our blog, the musicians who remain the lifeblood of our party, and the trouble we’re sure to get into in the next twelve months. Introductions, bedtime stories, photos, and party info on the way…
The Burdel Christmas Fiesta!
If Krampus has any candidates for kidnapping/harassment this year, those crazy gypsies all gathered at Mehanata last night, despite the insane blizzard and the heavy eggnog dosage… We left the lights and decorations behind at the commune to ring in the holidays the only way we know: Good music, pretty girls, and non-stop dancing… ★
We also sent off one of our beloved Burdel members, Michael – we love you & miss you already (some of us more than others, huh huh huh) and we’ll be waiting for our reunion, brothaaa… xx

We’d like to thank the funeral party who left black/red balloons for us to play with this weekend. They were very useful. . . May your departed loved one rest in peace knowing what you were doing as soon as they left this earth(!!!)
Later we would make equally practical use of this random tree branch we found on the street at 6AM.
