TONIGHT! 2010 Winter Olympics Party!

It’s been a week of unspeakable chaos for the Burdel Dali Militia, which is why only now, at 5:37AM, are we letting you know about our Winter Olympics party happening tonight. Alas!

[Burdel Dali Presents] Winter Olympics Party – TONIGHT

Join your local patriots and international citizens at the most multi-cultural world music venue in the LES. Burdel Dali Presents is honoring the 2010 Winter Olympics with a night of music, dancing, and general frivolity.

If you have any energy left after Tuesday’s Mardi Gras party, wear your stripes or something fresh & white, and come out to deplete the rest of it!

Dance tunes and world anthems by the infamous Raphlex & Mishto (two nationalists if ever we knew some), hosted by Michelle Christina of Tchaikovsky Darling, and endorsed by the Mehanata Wives Club. Live performance by Avram Pengas before we get crazy.

FREE ADMISSION on our list – $10 otherwise.

Burdel Valentine ♥

Photos from our amorous eve of this and that – decor, crazy women, and all the things we promised.

Don’t forget about our Mardi Gras carnival tomorrow night – rsvp to !

Propaganda & Mardi Gras~!

This party is going to be totally bananas. You’d be foolish to miss it.

[Burdel Dali Presents] Mardi Gras Carnival Party! ★

Next week the Burdel Dali Militia will dust off our dancing shoes two days early to celebrate Fat Tuesday in a fit of debauchery and excess. Come out, have a shot of rakia, and ring in the festival season like the sinner you are!

We’ll have drink specials, pretty girls in sequins & beads, dancing, screaming, and hookah chain-smoking. Festival tunes by Raphlex & Mishto. Join us in costume and leave your dignity at home. COSTUMES STRONGLY ENCOURAGED!

Tuesday, February 16th at 9:00PM.

This event is brought to you by Rachel Martinez and Mehanata Bulgarian Bar.

And finally, a few photos from our Propaganda party last Thursday, c/o nightlifebaby.

Thanks for coming out!

Gypsy Eviction, Part II.

Thanks to all who came out to our Valentines day pregame. We sold all of Mishto’s kisses to one pretty lady who now has an impressive debt to pay. A full gallery of that hot pink madness will be up this weekend.

More photos of the Gyspsy Eviction c/o Tchaikovsky Darling. The full set (over 100!) is up at our facebook page.

And check out this video from the Mehanata Haiti benefit concert, featuring a ton of cool bands and Michelle taking rakia shots with Ilva. The real deal.

Be our valentine.

Tonight we’re hosting an event you’d be very foolish to miss if you need to find yourself a date for the 14th – a trans-global alcoholic date, that is.

[Burdel Dali Presents] BE MY VALENTINE! ♥

This Thursday night in the burdel of questionable affection, find a crazy gypsy lover to spend your Valentines day with! Wear something sexy (extra points for red/pink) and get ready to stomp around to the festive soundtrack of Raphlex & Mishto.

We’re selling DJ Mishto’s kisses for $1.00 a pop! That’s a deal no matter which way you look at it. BRING LIPGLOSS. ♥

Red wine for a mere $4.00 a glass, tragic music of lament and despair, and delicious hookah to smoke with your sweetheart .Live performance by Avram Pengas at 9:00PM. Tres romantic.

♥ ♥ ♥ FREE ADMISSION ALL NIGHT …if you’re on our list.
RSVP to for a free ride. $10 before 11:30, otherwise. Wine is cheap, life is short, and history repeats itself. Hosted by Tchaikovsky Darling.

… and what better way to get in the mood than with a little Rada x Zobar romance?

Gypsy Eviction!

The commune was decked in sheer white and lights for the unceremonious eviction party that happened on the 2nd, hosted by our lovely friend Lennon and her band of misfit cohabitants. The tiny dancers dressed themselves like mystical thrift shop fiends and we all had a dose of honey on our tongues to keep things sweet.

Photos by nightlifebaby‘s camera, taken by Tchaikovsky Darling. More on the way.

Twilight Vision covers Gypsy Tabor…

Some of our favorite Mehanata regulars waxing nomadic at the Gypsy Tabor festival… Raphlex is photographing, Michelle is dancing, and Mishto is getting interviewed about Brooklyn wildlife. Watch out, it gets pretty deep. Click to watch.
