[Burdel Dali Presents] The Kreptatka Bar Band COSTUME PARTY!
This Thursday at Burdel Dali Presents, come early for a live performance by the highly decorated, widely feared & adored Kreptatka Bar Band… come see if their inspirations (Gypsy Shamanism, substance) make an appearance.
At 9:30, Yuri Younakov & Avram Pengas take the stage. At 11:00 DJ Mishto & Raphlex and their island of misfit toys will be dispersing your favorite celebratory immigrant anthems…
Hosted by Tchaikovsky Darling… Dress code enforced via staircase brutality. Wear a costume or at least some war paint (and get ready to die on the dance floor). There is also a chance you may be thrown down the stairs, whether or not you pass the dress code. Ready yourselves.
As always… cheap wine, hookah, & history in the making.
We’re just a little collectively obsessed with these guys… they turned out a room full of freaks and fools, even got some girl so excited she was grabbing at their plaid. Must be tough being a bunch of Copenhagen heart-breakers…

In a klezmerattack we will never forget, the handsome devils of Mames Babegenush busted out their instruments at Mehanata last Thursday and treated us to an impromptu performance, from which spawned seedy red-lit video and topless dancing.
They’re coming back for three nights of the same sort of madness this weekend…
We start the weekend of debauchery with our very own Burdel Dali Presents, TOMORROW! Ssee you on the dance floor…
[Burdel Dali Presents] GHETTO BLASTERS RELEASE PARTY: Mahala Raï Banda!
No kidding when we say straight from the dirty streets of Bucharest… Mahala Raï Banda of Bucharest, Romania dropped their new album, Ghetto Blasters – and now you’ll attempt to do it dance floor justice. Listen!
We start it up with a live performance by Yuri Younakov & Avram Pengas at 9:30PM, and then shit hits the fan with DJ Mishto and Raphlex until the sun comes up and we’re forced to relocate to the Punjabi deli.
Bulgarian, Russian, Latin, Ex-Yugoslavian, indescribable anthems for ex-patriots and global citizens… Hosted by Tchaikovsky Darling.
This Thursday, don’t miss it! and REMEMBER:
Wine is cheap, life is short,
and history repeats itself.
Tomorrow night – Thursday! [Burdel Dali Presents] NY GYPSY FILMS & GOGOL BORDELLO AXIS MUNDI UNOFFICIAL RELEASE PARTY
